Twelve Netflix original films for two: romcoms, mysteries and animation. Netflix’s own films, so they rarely come and go by country.

Most "best on Netflix" lists go out of date quickly, because what the service offers changes by country and by month. So this list only includes Netflix’s own films: made or acquired for the service, they are generally available wherever it is. Check your region before movie night all the same.

    A chaotic family road trip gets interrupted by a robot uprising. Loud, very funny and full of heart.

    A knight framed for a crime teams up with a shapeshifting teenager who loves chaos. Funny, fast and more moving than it first lets on.

For a serious night

    A couple who still care about each other go through a divorce split between New York and Los Angeles. Not a date-night mood, but one of the most honest films about a relationship.
